Harrison Bader went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, two doubles and a stolen base on Tuesday in Cleveland.

Bader can do no wrong lately. His home run to lead off the top of the third inning was his ninth of the season and his first hit to the opposite field. He also doubled down the line, doubled high off the left field wall and stole third base before scoring a run. Bader was hitting just .219/.301/.411 when he went on the injured list with a fractured rib back in late May. Now, his batting line sits at .301/.368/.548.

Alex Reyes spun a scoreless frame to pick up his 24th save on Tuesday in Cleveland.

Reyes hit Bobby Bradley with a breaking ball in the dirt with two out but then got Harold Ramirez to fly out to preserve the two-run victory for the Cardinals. The right-hander has bounced back with three scoreless appearances since his first blown save last week.

Adam Wainwright struck out eight while holding the Indians to two runs over seven innings as the Cardinals emerged victorious 4-2.

It's the 10th time this season that Wainwright has completed seven innings, which is more than any pitcher other than Zack Wheeler. Waino turns 40 in a few weeks, by the way. The veteran right-hander served up a two-run home run to Jose Ramirez in the fourth inning but that was it, as he held the Indians to just four hits and a couple walks. The win was his eighth, and he's got his ERA down to 3.51. Wainwright will try to keep turning back the clock next week against the Braves at home.

Shildt has to stick with GG, right?
I would bet a dollar to a donut that he brings in Reyes.

I feel like someone owes me a [expletive] donut.
