Scherzer has no earned runs in 35 innings.

Give me Gausman or Logan Webb in a one game playoff than playing him.

Imagine if we had added he and Turner at the deadline…
We got Happ and Lester, what are you [expletive] about.

Hoping that tweet was a usual Nightengale. Meaning the opposite will happen.

It’s looking like winning 8 games should get them in with the lead they have.

Rob
If the Cardinals and Dodgers/Giants end up playing in the WC game, do the Cardinals have a better chance than we think?

Kevin Goldstein
For sure, in the sense that it would be hard for any two playoffs teams to match up in one game with more than say a 60/40 difference in winning odds...

Sorry, you're not long-winded and non-committal enough to be the actual Mo.

I'm really enjoying the current run, but it's only relevant because a bunch of other teams started sucking out loud. I'm sure you know this, sorry dmarx, I've been dealing with funnier / more determined trolls than you for 20 years.

Is dmarx a troll or a counterpoint? Internet sports fans are the worst, and sometimes we are them. I think his voice is an important one around here, if it doesn't always ring true.

For me it seems disingenuous to be so sour on this team--or indifferent to--then hop on board all of a sudden. I'm struggling with it. If I had a more balanced and nuanced perspective I would legitimately be happier and more engaged right now and it would be worth it.

Why can't you be a fan, but also think Mo is awful? Why can't you be both of those things? (I am asking people like Dmarx)
