If there were a game where the benches cleared because of cocky antics, it might be this game; Stroman.

Stroman was lights out when I saw him pitch against the Reds last July. Hopefully the Cardinal bats can work on getting his pitch count up early.
I will be driving back to the great state of Ohio today; hope to be back to the house by first pitch but I might be cutting it close. I will go on record as saying that I would be in favor of the Cardinals scoring multiple runs in today's baseball match.

The New York Mets are 42-28 at home this season and are solid favorites to beat the St. Louis Cardinals who are 36-35 on the road this season. The Mets have a better than 55% chance of winning based on 10,000 game simulations generated one play at a time by the AccuScore Simulation Supercomputer. Mets\' starter Marcus Stroman is forecasted to have a better game than Cardinals\' starter Jake Woodford. Marcus Stroman has a 52% chance of having a Quality Start (QS) while Jake Woodford has a 32% chance of a QS. If Marcus Stroman has a quality start the Mets has a 74% chance of winning. His simulated strikeout to walk ratio is 5.6 and he has a 50% chance of having a 5 to 1 K/BB ratio. When he has a 5/1 ratio the Mets win 67%. In Jake Woodford quality starts the Cardinals win 52%. He has a 18% chance of having a 5 to 1 K/BB ratio and if he does his team wins 52% of simulations. In simulations we tracked the batter for each team that was most productive based his average hits, walks and RBI per simulation. The most productive batter for the New York Mets is Pete Alonso who averaged 2.39 hits+walks+RBI. He has a 40% chance of having a big game with 3+ Hits, Walks, RBI and if he has a big game the Mets have a 77% chance of winning. The most productive batter for the St. Louis Cardinals is Paul Goldschmidt who averaged 1.88 hits+walks+RBI. He has a 29% chance of having a big game with 3+ Hits, Walks, RBI and if he has a big game the Cardinals have a 50% chance of winning.

When I was a kid, I couldn't understand whether there was a hotel chain named after Howard Johnson, or Howard Johnson was named after a hotel chain. Either way, I hated him and the mets. [expletive] them. Go Cardinals.
