Second the motion. It looks like we currently have two random threads running.Big Amoco Sign wrote: ↑November 23 21, 9:20 amSuggestion to mods: renaming "Free Agents" thread to "Cardinals Hot Stove 2021-2022" and that other one to "Other Teams Hot Stove 2021-2022" because a lot of these discussions in both overlap now. None of it matters but may help. Obviously major moves to their own thread, etc.

Re: Free Agents
So they will have Hendricks, Kimbrall and Graveman?
That’s a lot of ‘closer’ money.

There’s also a Cards payroll thread that would probably serve well for, well, Cards related matters. I should’ve put the Goold bit in there tbh

I typically wouldn't worry too much about Coors splits. Except that these splits are big.MrCrowesGarden wrote: ↑November 18 21, 8:16 amI'd be careful about trying to draw too many conclusions about Coors splits.
Story might be able to put up an ops+ of 110 or something similar to that. I'd be shocked if he leaves Coors and ever puts up something in the 120's again.
In 2018... his best year in baseball, his OPS+ splits were 177 vs. 116. I might be wrong, but to me he screams bust.

Giants re-sign Alex Wood to 2/25m. Not to pull a "Where was Walt" but come on!

again for 10th time, the last few years this team is good enough to probs make playoffs but not really a world series contender unless they add a shutdown pitcher for playoffs and left hand regular bat, said this for last 2 years ... and i have not been wrong
