Re: Cards re-sign McFarland
We probably shouldn't expect much from a guy who has varied from mediocre to terrible for most of his career, with a few scattered stretches of good performance. It is only $2.5MM. If he doesn't hack it, cut him.

If our outfielders were better at robbing home runs we wouldn't be worried about it.

Every pitcher has sucked tonight. But it's Oli's fault and not Mo.
WPA graph says you're not likely watching the game.

Why is it ridiculous to criticize a manager for making the same mistakes over and over?
Is that no longer allowed on this message board?

Friday's game wasn't close. If he had used Helsley; that would have been ridiculous.dmarx114 wrote: ↑May 14 22, 6:22 amWhy is it ridiculous to criticize a manager for making the same mistakes over and over?

And making a comment like Do your thing isn't criticizing; it's deliberately trying to get a rise out of other posters and it's being a dik.

It was 3-1 when McFarland came in. That’s not close?CardsofSTL wrote: ↑May 14 22, 8:24 amFriday's game wasn't close. If he had used Helsley; that would have been ridiculous.dmarx114 wrote: ↑May 14 22, 6:22 amWhy is it ridiculous to criticize a manager for making the same mistakes over and over?
