Since the bereavement period can last from 3 to 7 days, I'm wondering if Herrera will get into one or two games while up.

If he is still up when Liberatore makes his next start that would be a good time for him to get in there.

Liberatore was already sent back down. I doubt he gets another start for a while.

He was just called back up.

Ha! That’s what I get.

Thanks for correcting my correction.

The Matz injury necessitated bringing him back.

I believe that Yadi's son hurt his arm and is having surgery today is the reason for Yadi's leave. With the day off on Wednesday I would imagine that Herrera is just up for todays game. Yadi should be ready to caetch Wainwright on Thursday. But it would be nice tot get Herrera in the game tonight to at least catch the 9th inning or something like that.

Whenever I see "Bereavement List" I just see a "Beaver-leave list," like... the player has temporarily transformed into a beaver and the team needs to a few days for him to turn back.

Just because we're bereaved doesn't mean we're SAPS
