Or let the Reds tie it to make it a new game.

This reminds me of the first series of the season against Pittsburgh Pirates when we won the first two games and was up 3-0 to start game 3, and then it fell apart and we lost 9-4.

Hudson is always going to walk a tightrope of variance because he doesn’t miss bats and doesn’t get a lot of infield fly balls.
When he is walking guys (or hitting them) he can be downright awful.
Really, I’d prefer him in a multi-inning reliever role, but there’s also something to be said for results at some point and he does pair pretty well with the philosophy.
The most concerning part is they seem to view him as a rotation staple instead of someone to replace when the opportunity arises.

So that they can use Pujols against a RHP. Oli continues to do things I think are kind of -EV.

It’s almost like FIP catches up with you.

Wasn’t Pujols a late addition because of something with Carlson?
Either way I don’t know why they can’t find other ways to use Donovan. That throw home was a noodle arm throw.

I wish they'd trade him while his value is high, but that's unlikely. As Phin said, they see him as a staple in the rotation.Big Amoco Sign wrote: ↑June 12 22, 1:49 pmIt’s almost like FIP catches up with you.
