27.2 mph sprint speed this year for Judge. I wish we could get some sprint speed data for Walker because you would need to regress it down some to account for how he ages.

Judge has also played less than 80 games worth of CF(less than 10% of his career defensive innings) as a professional, so while I don't have a particular reason to doubt his ability, I think it's also safe to be skeptical of him as a confirmed success story that can apply to others.

I wonder if the incident earlier this year where Bader was pulled for lack of hustle has anything to do with this trade.

I doubt it, this trade is pretty much a steal for the Cardinals. From the Yankees side I feel like this was a 2 part move and the second part fell through.
