Nice AB by Call. Need a DP here. Pallante yields to Hicks.

Donovan: He Who Gets On Base Jr., or HWGOB Jr, if you're in a rush.
HWGOB Jr. does it again.

(I'm in a rush.)

Saw that yesterday when doing my research for the post about how Nootbaar has performed compared to Soto yesterday. He's been really good since the trade deadline.

The Nationals are in the midst of doing what a lot of these young out-of-contention teams do after the trade deadline; be a pain in the ass.

Won series against the A's and Mets coming in to this series that they have a solid shot to split at the Cardinals.

With Gallegos taking a step back, he could be a major force out the pen if (big if) he continues this way. Set up man/emergency closer.

So glad Eman is hitting again. The lineup is so much longer when him and Donovan are setting things up.
