If there wasn't any friction in adjusting(especially in low stakes games in ST) then the changes wouldn't be meaningful enough. I doubt they have it perfect, but it's also something that will be largely invisible by Memorial Day.

It should be a regular season thing only.

And for his closing contribution to his career, Yadi once again anticipated the right move before it happened.

Some brainiac needs to make an algorithm that weight pre-rule change stolen bases as more valuable than stolen bases going forward. These are easier.

That will be handled in WAR by wSB. The stolen bases will have a weight on it related to the run environment of the league. Run environments are run environments. They reset every year, regardless of the rules.

You can remove 37 of those because of the extra games. Dividing 730 by 492 gives you an increase in SB by 48%.

So if a game averages about a stolen base per game, now half the time you'll see a second. It's not that big but its not insignificant either. A speedy team will get an extra run every five or six games or so.

Wish it were cleaned up by now but one spring wasn’t enough time.

Bad product until the violations are unicorns.

I don't know what games you are watching but I LOVE the pace. Everyone is more engaged and things are happening.

Good product.
