If the St. Louis team were to persevere and win the competition by besting their rivals, I would find that outcome quite enjoyable.

Tyler O'Neill (hamstring) is hoping to return before the regular season wraps up next Wednesday.
O'Neill is scheduled to begin a running program on Wednesday as he continues to work his way back from a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. The 27-year-old outfielder has endured an injury-plagued 2022 campaign, but has a chance to make an impact during the Cardinals' impending postseason run.
