Nelson Cruz is planning to return for the 2023 season.

Cruz has missed significant chunks of time this season in his Nationals debut due to back tightness, shoulder soreness, a knee contusion and is currently sidelined due to left eye inflammation. The 42-year-old slugger, who has hit just 10 homers in 124 games this season, isn't ready to call it a career after 18 seasons in the majors and could latch on somewhere else this upcoming offseason as a short-term stopgap solution at designated hitter.

Brewers tie it in 9th. Win in 10th. 10 minutes later, Phils beat Astros and knock Brewers out of playoffs.

We’re either playing the Phils or Padres.

I wonder if the Phillies and padres will tank to play us and braves instead of Mets and dodgers, lol?

I'm fine with the Phillies "tanking" since they've been playing terrible lately and they should be a slam dunk win for the Cardinals.

Not with Wheeler and Nola going. Either series is going to be extremely tough

With Nola pitching yesterday you have to assume that Wheeler pitches Game 1 and Nola Game 2.
