in all seriousness, I would think stubby is the front runner
Stubby does make the most sense. Getting someone else to coach 1B they can promote a manager from the minors for that.

Yadi is also managing Puerto Rico in the WBC, which won't be over until ST is almost over with.

If Shumaker does well at Miami and Oli falters, do you think he becomes the next ST Louis manager, or would the Cards skip Skip to the Lou?

If he did it would suck for oli - oli income free all of the sudden.
