All the twitter fans got their wish.
Albert only produced a top hitting NL team but yeah let’s change stuff. Maddux was…good too. I don’t get this team at all.

Oli has more juice than Shildt did it seems.
Skip also leaving means it's a pretty big coaching shake up.

Wonder if we'll ever find out if they chose to leave, or if the team told them this is how it's gonna be.Big Amoco Sign wrote: ↑October 26 22, 10:40 amAll the twitter fans got their wish.

I've had my fill of the twitter Albert truthers. This team just finished 5th in MLB in runs scored, and was also 5th in nearly every team offensive metric like wOBA and wRC+. It was a good offensive team!

Alright alright. We are going to see what a new set of coaches can do with basically the same roster of players. Take THAT, Dodgers!

Re: Jeff Albert and Mike Maddux not returning to the Cardinals
Was that because of Jeff Albert though, or the product of having 3 HOF caliber hitters (before Albert) all having great seasons?heyzeus wrote: ↑October 26 22, 10:42 amWonder if we'll ever find out if they chose to leave, or if the team told them this is how it's gonna be.Big Amoco Sign wrote: ↑October 26 22, 10:40 amAll the twitter fans got their wish.

The guys we were expecting to develop (namely Carlson and Gorman) didn’t make much progress.
