Or was Ohtani saying "You should come play for us."?

Well one is not a free agent for a long time and one is next year, on a team that basically stated they won’t extend him as well as his agent saying publicly he should explore free agency.
Graceffo and Gorman centered package might get him as a rental mid season. I’m ALL in on that move.

come on Noot! That was your opening to guilt Ohtani to come here next year lolShohei Ohtani, the Angels’ two-way phenom and Team Japan’s superstar, gifted Nootbaar a luxury watch — but in exchange for a promise. He told Nootbaar he’d take the watch back if he did not play for Team Japan in 2026’s World Baseball Classic. Nootbaar said he’ll keep his word and play for Team Japan, if asked.

Surprised it didn't make it in the article - I heard Noot gave him some toasted ravioli but wanted it back if he signs somewhere else next year.cardsfantx wrote: ↑March 24 23, 8:03 amcome on Noot!
