Mets pitchers are going down like drummers for Spinal Tap. How much free agent money will Steve Cohen have on the IL to start the season?

he didn't hurt himself on the final pitch; he hurt celebrating on the field afterward, jumping up and down

Having trouble finding the information. Players have to have insurance to play in the WBC, but is the insurance to cover their contracts in the event of injury or is it just typical health insurance. Kershaw was a scratch at least in part due to insurance from what I read. As big of a risk as he is, tough to imagine he couldn't get coverage for health insurance alone.
On the other hand, I can see why getting a policy to cover $20M in the event he misses the season would be an issue.

Maybe the unwritten rules on celebrations have a point if baseball players hurt themselves doing it.cardsfantx wrote: ↑March 16 23, 8:33 amhe didn't hurt himself on the final pitch; he hurt celebrating on the field afterward, jumping up and down

I'm going to miss the trumpets...
Will the Mets go after his brother (who may possibly be better)? Reds aren't going anywhere this year...
No way Eppler and Cohen don't try to get somebody.

One of Tylor Megill and David Peterson will slide into the rotation to replace Quintana, and the other could move into the bullpen. Other bullpen candidates include lefty Joey Lucchesi, who is returning from Tommy John surgery; righties Jeff Brigham, Stephen Ridings, and Jimmy Yacabonis; and Buck Showalter favorite lefty T.J. McFarland.
