I went with Jose DeLeon because he personifies so many of the things the go into the making of a bad Cardinal Baseball player.

Plus, my sister was one of his ex-wife's divorce attorneys.

Does anyone remember when the original CardsTalk "Our season is over" thread was posted? I want to say it was week 1 or 2, but I'm not sure.
Ahhh yes. StLouisSportsFan, I believe. Sometime in the mid April range of 2004.

Unfortunately, this isn't 2004.
My memory is he posted that at the end of spring training. But that was long ago in a galaxy far, far away.
That's what I remember, as well. The Sunday before Opening Day.
Haha. Wow. That's possibly the first online gang-up I ever witnessed. Poor guy.

That thread should be in the archives forum.

Do I think it's over? Yes. Is it over? No.

My greatest regret of Cards Talk was not copying that thread before the P-D deleted it in an archive purge.

Found it: http://web.archive.org/web/200801310830 ... 431c202dc3

It was posted earlier than I remember, April 4, 2004. Unfortunately it looks like only the first page was archived on the day I could find.

Looking around some more on the old Wayback Machine, I was only able find page 114 of 116, captured on January 31, 2008:

Good to see SaintLouisSportsFan was still sticking with that same thread almost four years later.

Also found this. What...a...legend:
