Oh no. This is a huge loss for baseball.
And the really sad thing (to me) is that he hardly got to enjoy his retirement.
If someone would be so kind as to post tomorrow's Weatherbird in this thread, that would be nice.
EDIT - They held the lid on that for 48 hours. Pretty impressive in today's media world.

When I was a kid, I had Bob Burnes and Bob Broeg to read. Neal Russo too!

I wonder if he enjoyed retirement, given how long he worked. I never met my paternal grandfather, who died a week before I was born.
