First matchup I can remember in awhile that we have a starter with a lower ERA and it's still almost 5+. I didn't believe in this staff to start the year but I never imagined they'd be this bad.

Yeah I knew the rotation would have issues but I thought it was more we didn't have high end guys. Not that they would pretty much all be 5th starters.

I’m sure there is some sort of rationale. Day game after night game. Stretch of games without an off day. Nagging aches and pains. Yada yada yada.

It does seem odd to rest the heart of your lineup all on the same day.
