If he performs I will have gotten my pre season prediction correct! (It was he'll start hot, cool off, get sent down, get recalled and stay for good)

Or maybe Mercado. His cup of coffee is stone cold, his 15 minutes - expired.

Re: Walker back up
Kinda saw this coming the over the last couple of days with the preemptive media narrative.
Looking at his GB/FB numbers in the minors he's not that different from Goldy. Clearly it was an issue during his first stint in the majors but is it an issue? Hard to say I guess. Maybe they talked [expletive] simply to manipulate service time like they threw an all star catcher under the bus to placate a bunch of [expletive] pitchers.
He did take more walks and get another couple dozen games in the outfield under his belt at Memphis and max EV, sprint speed and arm strength were all elite in St Louis.
Even if the team sucks he's worth paying attention.

Think they need him to at least back up in CF unless Noot is back this weekend.Joe Shlabotnik wrote: ↑June 1 23, 8:19 pmOr maybe Mercado. His cup of coffee is stone cold, his 15 minutes - expired.

If Noot is going to the IL they need Mercado to play CF. I don't think we can put Edman in CF for an entire week, he'll get exposed badly having to play out there that long.
