Ah. Well, seems like the talent is worth a flier. We’ll see.

Army sees the Blues as now having seven top-nine forwards under contract for next season and eight if you count Neighbours.
The seven: Kyrou, Buchnevich, Schenn, Thomas, Saad, Kapanen, Vrana.
Fourth line projects with Toropchenko, Alexandrov and Blais, and Blais can move up.
“One of the reasons that we did this is because they have contracts for next year. I don't feel comfortable that this is the summer to get out in the free agent market, where we are with our team, with the growth of our team. (CONT)
Armstrong (END): "I don't really want to, if we don't have to, giving out three- or four-year deals to players this summer. I'd like to have more players on one-year contracts, let them prove their value to the team and they can make decisions of this is the right fit for them."

Find another second liner and just figure out a way to play a good defensive system and that’s probably a team competing for a wild card playoff spot next year. Buch, Thomas, kyrou and Schenn isn’t too shabby of a top 4. Saad needs to be your 7, not your 5. (It would be nicer if Schenn was your 5/6 and not your 4)

If there's one thing this team has proven, it can go into a tailspin at any moment. They're only a couple of games from Minnesota scoring eight goals against them. I have faith that they will crap the bed again.

only about a dozen games left and it's be tough to move up or down too much....prob stay right in that 8-10 range from the bottom
just need to make sure they finish 11th at the highest so they have at least a shot in the lottery for #1! (can only move up 10 spots max)
