Re: Blues Off-season and 2024-25 Season
I’m pretty excited about this year. I have about the same expectations as last year. If things go well, could sneak into a playoff spot. Probably on the outside.
Excited to see the kids grow though. I like that we have a good mix of kids and vets so we can hopefully put kids in situations to succeed. I just hope we don’t have so many vets that someone who needs nhl development is in the minors. I wonder if we see some trades just to give kids opportunities. If not this year, when some ntcs become partial ntcs.
Really excited to give broberg a chance to grow. Makes the blues young d look a lot better.
I know there isn’t a likely elite forward or defenseman in our prospect system, but we do have Thomas and kyrou, and then what looks like just a ton of really solid depth. You can win with good depth. You can also trade it for elite talent. (Hi 2019!!!)
I’d like us to make the playoffs because I know the ownership group makes a profit if we do, but all I want is for the kids to make strides. Should be fun to watch!

This seems to indicate that Saad is out to start the season. I would think he'd be on the second line if healthy.

Huge comeback win tonight against the Sharks after being down 4-1 after 2! The Blues really outplayed the Sharks most of the way through. Two fluky goals with weird bounces off of Blues defenders did a good chunk of the damage as well as the Blues special teams not playing well (another shorty).

I went to bed with them down 3-1 in the 2nd. (Stupid west coast games)
If this team can find some consistency, they could be really good! I'm really liking Faksa so far. He's really elevating our 4th line. Broberg has looked like a steal, too.

Right now, the Blues are on pace for 164 points.
True fact.

4-1 for me; after that fluke shorthanded goal to make it a 4-1 deficit, I was done
surprise for me when I woke up! was checking to see how much they lost by
