"Free Hullie"

Post by StL Dan »

From Bernie Miklasz's "stream of consciousness" today:

"The only problem with Brett Hull on NBC's Stanley Cup broadcasts? There isn't enough of him. Get Hull yapping during the game, and set him free to comment on everything that happens as it happens instead of giving him a few minutes between periods. If the NHL wants to attract viewers, just plug in Hullie's microphone for a full game. He's opinionated and funny. That's preferable to the stream of techno-babble we're hearing now from the in-game broadcasters."

I agree with Bernie, as well.

Hullie was the best thing to happen to the national hockey media scene from day one.
