You have
Valuev
W. Klitschko
Laihkov
Rahman

Those are the 4.
Rahman is the lineal Champ, but Klitschko the best fighter.

3 of 4 are former Soviets.
Valuev is the biggest ever. 7 feet 300 pounds.
But he has Don King as his promoter so he'll screw it up.
Doesn't matter really, because Klitschko will destroy them all.

I sure wish they had just one Organziation, and were forced to fight on a regular basis. Boxing seems to be lacking that Hvywgt star power.

The heavyweight division has been in shambles since Lennox retired, probably earlier. Wladimir is far and away the most skilled in the division, but he could be knocked out by a feather judging by a couple of his fights. Look out for Calvin Brock though. He is undefeated and should get a title shot soon.

Is anyone going to see Spinks get whooped next weekend? After not fighting for over a year after getting knocked out at 147, Spinks is moving up in weight against the title holder at 154 . Roman Karmazin is the real deal and should have no problems with Cory "feather fists" Spinks.

I wish Spinks well, but agree he can't hurt a fly.
But Calvin Brock sucks. He has not looked good in the 5 fights I've watched of his.
Did you see his fight last weekend? BORING.
Liahkov or whatever his name, is very entertaining, as is Brewster.
I think the fighters are not bad, it's just all the politics that bring the actiont o a stand still.

 .....That's what I get for pretending to know something about the heavyweights..... #-o

I am a big boxing fan but do not have much interest above 175. I only threw Brock's name out there because I know he is undefeated and ranked fairly high in the division, but I really have no knowledge or interest in the division. I actually tuned in the Boxing After Dark (with Brock) re-run last night, but fell asleep early into Brock's fight, LOL. I read that Brock basically dominated the fight but didn't land much. If you say the fight was that bad and he is the only up-and-comer of the hw's, the division is worse off than I thought.

The best division in boxing right now is by far the welterweights. Despite having a "paper champion" in Baldomir, the division is loaded with talent. Mayweather (P4P #1), Hatton, Collazo, Cotto, Paul Williams and Cintron are all excellent fighters and fun to watch.

It's a shame to see the sport steadily decline, but it seems to be making a comeback, somewhat. In addition to the strong welterweight division, there should also be some great upcoming fights at 154/160 and anything involving the Pac-Man is NEVER boring.

They all stink just like the division...
