If Holloway was stronger he’d be so damn tough. I mean he’s obviously good but those punches just don’t have a lot of oomph

Yep. You probably can’t get the aerobic dominance he displays by building too much power, so he’d be a different fighter, but it’s still a scary thought.AWvsCBsteeeerike3 wrote: ↑January 16 21, 4:30 pmIf Holloway was stronger he’d be so damn tough. Re: MMA Thread II
So, Conor MacGregor is fighting Dustin Poirier in front of a bunch of piece of [expletive] sheiks this Saturday.
Conor is undoubtedly a bad person, but the build up to his fights, and the tension within between his boasts during the build up and whether or not he can deliver on those boasts in the octagon is some of the most compelling stuff in sports. I am always, always torn between wanting him to lose but feeling so compelled to see him back up his [expletive], because we all wish we could live lives of saying whatever we want, whenever we want, and being able to back it up. The anticipation is unlike any other sporting event I've ever followed.
Also, the Hooker-Chandler co-main is going to be insane. Hooker only has bangers and Chandler has a massive amount to prove.
