As the pic in my sig suggests, I enjoy watching the sport. Got into it during the '07 RWC. DishNetwork aired Setanta (an Irish sports channel) for free to preview the tourney and show some early matches and I got hooked. Added it to my sports package. I don't think you could pay me to play it though. And I assume we are talking about rugby union, not rugby league.

Rugby World Cup 2011 going on now. US team didn't embarrass itself against Ireland (#4 in world) before beating Russia and then getting destroyed by Australia.

Riveting match between Scotland and Argentina that Argentina won 13-12.

RUGBY rules.

Selected matches are airing on Universal Sports, which is a really fun network that airs cycling, skiing, track and field, etc.

The RWC final is on NBC next month.

New Zealand really made Canada look like a beer league.

I know...but damn...they really just dominated the entire game. It'd be like the St. Louis Cardinals playing my softball team.

What is startling is that the Canadian team would probably beat the US team.

Though gaining in popularity, professional rugby is still the world of a relative few haves and many have nots.
