I just haven't been able to watch. So all I saw was Thailand. I found it disgraceful, but I wasn't going to hold it against them all tournament. Rapinoe has been amazing after and between games. Hopefully she's the one doing the late night shows.

US vs Netherlands Sunday AM.
I only saw after 1-0 with Netherlands in defensive clock killing mode. They were really good at that.

That team looked dominant all the way through. Didn’t see the france game but throughout the rest they always seemed in control. Kudos and congrats to them. Too bad they’re too good and arrogant for a lot of critics. Oh well.

Great win!
Twitter is fun right now but you’ll have to go to Politics and the Fox News thread to view (no cross-contamination allowed.)

I was glad to see them score one in the run of play.
I'd say the critics aren't without some point. If you're a neutral or a fan of another country your introduction to the US was a 13-0 celebratory danceathon with a backdrop of humiliated faces. That's gonna look ugly.
But I thought the tea was great--especially because England had talked a little [expletive]. I was surprised how much criticism she took for that.
I'm looking forward to Rapinoe's victory lap interviews. "You can't win a championship without gays!"
Will Trump bother to invite them?

I’m the knuckledragging, fat, loud American that doesn’t care for soccer (can’t even lie and say I watched a single kick), but think it’s awesome our ladies won in a sport that means more to other countries.

I wish Rapinoe or Steph Curry or someone would go and find a way to protest subtly in attendance.Tim wrote:Already did I believe.BottenFieldofDreams wrote: Will Trump bother to invite them?

I don't get the argument that the ladies should make the same money as the men. They've won 4/8 World Cups and the men can't put a goal on Mexico at home. Clearly the ladies should make more.
