Meh. Worth a shot I guess, but I think they are both toast.

Yeah there’s really no spot for either

Still wondering how they’re going to sign thomas this year and fit him under the cap? Sunny I guess to LTIR, but he’s not supposed to be out long from everything I’ve read?

I wonder if these two moves are to restock depth for a coming trade. Especially with Bozek getting more money after 10 games, I’m thinking DA is just trying to buy time. (Or just, never hurts to see what they have)

I also wondered if giving out PTO's, why forwards, instead of our D? Your speculation of a trade makes me think DA may be setting up going after a D-man

I’m Jon Snow, don’t get your hopes up about my speculation.

Whoa! $2.8m per… ruh roh

I mean, I’m glad he is signed. He needs to take steps but two years is a good length to see if he takes said steps… but ruh roh cap

Sanford traded to Ottawa for Logan Brown and a conditional pick.

I've never been a big Sanford fan so just clearing the salary was fine to me. Brown had lost his shine since being drafted high in 2016 but maybe a change of scenery back home to St Louis will rejuvenate him. It's a nice buy low move imo.
