It’s great for me being out of market, but they’re being very vague with what games are airing where.

It’s supposed to be basically replacing nhl.tv but other channels are getting more games as well.

At $5m he was too expensive, but he’s a really good role player. Great 4th liner. Really good third liner. Can have occasional stints in a scoring line. At the right price those guys are very valuable. I’d have been fine with him coming about for around (a bit under $2m, and I’d have been ecstatic at $1.5m ish)

Basically league minimum is great. No risk. If he turns into a pumpkin, it’s a minimal gamble. (And he is unlikely to not at least be a solid 4th liner, for face off wins alone)

I'm glad he's back. He's a solid vet, does all the little things, good at fundamentals, & I've read the team considers him a great mentor for the young players.

He is basically getting 1.5 million because he has a $750k bonus for playing 10 games, which he will do easily if he isn’t hurt. There are another $500k in bonuses for additional games played and Blues progression in the playoffs.
