I had no idea Eric Collins was their PBP guy. I actually know the dude. You couldn't meet a more down to earth guy. I'm glad to see he's doing well, even if Dodger Blues members want Steve Lyons to beat the [expletive] out of him.

Like I said before, this game thread needs to be archived.

I still think this game was decided when Torre left Troncoso in when they could have pinch-hit and gone for more. I can understand not trusting your bullpen, but that was just silly.

I'll go with that. What was that move? Though LaRussa did his best with his bunting.

did anyone ever ask Tony whether the Ludwick bunt was Tony's call or Luddy's idea?

No idea, but that pissed me the f off. Everybody around me at the game agreed that it was a stupid move.

After the Dodgers scored in the 11th, Torre could have pinch-hit for Troncoso(unless he had no bench left, which eliminates my argument completely) with Loney at second and gone for more and considering that Franklin had pretty much nothing they probably would have gotten another and the game might have been over.

Also could have had Pierre run for Manny (when he got thrown out by Luddy)...Pierre would have scored.

Pierre had pinch-hit earlier in the game. In the 8th, I think?
