I feel like it should be 50/50.

We've got carp goin, they got Hudson.

Pretty evenly matched opposing pitcher, although Myers has been red hot the past month so you nught be able to argue the braves have the edge.

I'll wait until I hear what the A.S.S. has to say.

Pretty sure that BP's calcs accidently included a win for Atlanta yesterday, as they have them projected for 90.2 wins, and they can only win 90. Unless it factors in a playoff game.

Atlanta projected winning percentage is .516. Cardinals .560. Something not adding up.

Good catches. I'm not 100% sure how they do it, but when they run the simulations would a portion of the games have to include the 163rd game?

Per the comments:
Colin Wyers BP Staff wrote:There was a data feed error last night that not only failed to update the games from last night, but overwrote the games that I hand-entered last night. I did some manual data entry and am rerunning the playoff odds - Cardinals should be above 50%, albeit not by a heck of a lot. Sorry about that

The spreadsheet updated wrong. I guess that finally proves you DO have to watch the games.

True dat.

I confidently told my mom a month ago the cards were out of it. I guess that's why they play the games.

:) as long as we're mathematically in it, I'm gonna have faith

What a team, what a ride..

I honestly don't care if they get swept...but I think they got a great shot of going deep with the way they're playing (house money really!)
