I was thinking earlier about how many key plays we've not even had any time to discuss. Was it the 10th where we scored a run on a ground out before Berkman's hit? Theriot? Was there any chance they get DD at the plate if they come home with it? Maybe not the smart play with a 2 run lead and one out but I was thinking he's nailed at the plate if Beltre came home with it.lukethedrifter wrote:How close was it to having the game end on a triple play off Lohse's airborne bunt?

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/1 ... on/108886/Game 6 posted a 12.7/21 fast national household rating/share with an average viewership of 21.1 million viewers, and is the highest-rated and most-watched World Series game since Game 6 of the 2009 World Series (13.4/22, 22.3 million), according to Nielsen Media Research. Ten World Series games have been played since then. It is also the highest-rated World Series game not involving the New York Yankees since Game 4 in 2005 (13.0/21), and is the most-watched World Series game sans the nationally popular Yankees and Boston Red Sox since Game 7 in 2002 (30.8 million).

I'll have to check the replay but I think DD was off on contact and Beltre, who wasn't playing in at that point, had no choice really but to go for the out at first.Richie Allen wrote:I was thinking earlier about how many key plays we've not even had any time to discuss. Exactly. In the air to a foot or two to the left field side and Beltre catches it and ends the game.Jmodene wrote:I'll have to check the replay but I think DD was off on contact and Beltre, who wasn't playing in at that point, had no choice really but to go for the out at first.Richie Allen wrote:I was thinking earlier about how many key plays we've not even had any time to discuss.
