http://blues.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=598773When he was 16, Carpenter was an all-state defenseman for Trinity High School in Manchester, N.H. He was an all-stater his last three seasons in high school, and scouts from the Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins were checking to see if he had an interest in pursuing hockey on a full-time basis.

He was probably out making a guest appearance on The View when the shirt was made.docellis wrote:isn't someone missing on this tshirt?

You're right; I don't see Gerald Laird anywhere on that shirt.

Also, it's mentioned in passing at the bottom, but Carpenter has had season tickets to the Blues pretty much his entire career in StL, and attends the majority of the games during non-baseball season. I've spotted him in the concourses a couple times.

Here's some stuff to play with.
World Series WPA by batter.
By batter, by game.
WPA of every World Series play.
And finally, Win Expectancy for the entire World Series.

I was at game 7 and finally had the opportunity to watch the replay on tivo. I got chills all over again. I liked how Fox captured all of the different player reactions after the last out. Craig and Jays reaction was priceless, they did the chest bump hug and then ran in to the infield and was talking to each other like little leaguers....that is what baseball is all about.

I don't know if this was posted anywhere else...but I found this really enjoyable. This is the BBC call of Freese's Walk-off HR in Game 6.
While it seems odd hearing a Brit making the call, he certainly has more enthusiasm than Buck or Shannon.s
