2017 Fantasy Baseball

For those that are knowledgeable about fantasy baseball, I'm playing in a keeper league this year and was looking for a little advice on who you would keep off my team from last year. I've got a pretty good idea who I want to hold onto, but I've only been playing a few years so I'd like to get some experts advice (if we have any here..lol).

Here's a few guys I'm contemplating on, I get to keep two of them. My intentions were to keep Jose Fernandez (RIP), but of course that's not an option

Miguel Cabrera
Carlos Correa
Giancarlo Stanton
Freddie Freeman

Carlos Martinez
Stephen Strasburg
Aaron Sanchez

I'd keep Correa and Cabrera.

Cabrera because he is just a hitting god and even when you think he's going to decline he hits .315 with 30 HR and knocks in 100 RBI. Correa because he's a shortstop and SS is not a deep position for fantasy.

Yeah, Cabrera was tops on my list to keep....he's about as consistent as they come.

I was debating between Stanton and Correa, but you're probably right....one of the top hitting SS in the majors is probably worth more than Stanton. Stanton MIGHT put up a monster year IF he stays healthy, but the past has shown otherwise.

And there are lots of other OF capable of hitting a bunch of HR. There aren't many SS capable of putting up the offensive numbers that Correa can.

Pretty pleased. Not many saves likely, but sounds like Glover may be closing for Washington.

Anyone want to play in a GRB fantasy baseball league? Draft tomorrow afternoon or Monday evening?
