Democrat presidential primary

Post by Freed Roger »

Try again.
20 issue questions, which candidate you agree with

FWIW, I find these things informative, but results not necessarily in line with my favoritism of candidates. Some issues I care more about than others. Some issues are at a hypothetical stage at best. The environment-related questions weren't what I'd ask. And a candidate mouthing support of a stance, may not mean all that much.

For example, I am 14/20 with Warren, then 11/20 with 3 or 4 of them -pete, Sanders.

I am favoring Sanders.

Bloomberg most at 11 and Warren least at 3. What surprised me was Yang at 8.

Bloomberg the most and I hate that bastard.

Followed closely by Yang and Mayor Pete. Warren was last.

I re-did the survey, and my results changed. I think it is because several of the questions/answers are broad and sort of illogical.

I suspect Bernie deals in absolutes (bans) because half-measures will doom the overall point.

For example:
Q7 prisoners vote - all or some - i changed my answer. Allowing or banning some is too complex under current judicial system.

Q10 guaranteed job - that is a hypothetical if there ever was one, same for QBI. A candidate may say yes UBI and Jobs for all, in order to start the conversation.

Q11 -deportation. I changed it to halt it, because system is broken now. If/When we have a functional system, I'd prefer criminals be deported, after some due process.

nuclear power, fracking questions. I prefer some other line of question for climate change, environmental, and meeting energy needs conversation.

At 2nd pass, i am 12 Bernie, 11 Warren, Pete Bloom Yang 10,
Biden Klub 8
