They’re going to screw Bernie again...

They gave Pete more delegates when Bernie won both states. What’s the point of voting if it’s not going to matter?
Playing by the rules of the state matters.

Iowa goes by delegates, not votes. It's intended to encourage candidates to focus on the entire state, and not just highly-populated areas of the state. Winning the delegates arguably takes more ground work than winning the popular vote.

Doesn't matter. Bernie has claimed victory in both states, which is fine. The candidates should be focused on how to beat Donald Trump, not get back those two electorates from a week and a half ago in Iowa.
It'd be a losing argument, IMO. Also, Iowa messed up big time. Bernie won rural counties that went to Pete. I can't wait until Super Tuesday so we can see the clear winner.

Losing is never better than winning. Pete lost both states. The system is rigged and hopefully people finally see that as Bernie is about to get screwed again. This time the left will finally say goodbye to the democrats and maybe we'll have a more widely supported DSA third-party option. One can only hope.

Bernie wins his second state in a row, and the MSM headlines are raving about Pete and Amy...huh?

And I don't disagree with you that the focus should be to beat Trump. But the focus should also be a platform of populist ideas. The same thing Trump utilized to energize the base of the right. Bernie does that for the left. And I think Bernie can get more independents and people who usually don't vote. But if Bernie gets hosed for the second time, there will be a lot of leftists that aren't going to buy into "blue no matter who!" To the DSA faction/millenial left... free college and M4A are big deals (especially when paying for them is as easy as cutting a tiny fraction of defense budget). If Democrats want to keep ignoring those voices, that's on them.

I'm coming around to the need for populist ideas to beat Trump. And Bernie is the Democrat with the most populist talking points.

Call me crazy but you know what I'd like to see Bernie do? Seek out the billionaires who are becoming vocal about how capitalism has gone too far. There's a handful of them making noise. Quietly start talking to them now about policies they can agree on to get capitalism back on track. Let them reach out to the business community and get some corporate leaders on board. Get to an understanding before the summer so that it can be rolled out before the convention.

Sure it would take compromise on Bernie's part but socialism isn't going to cut it with enough of the electorate. Bernie being able to work with those guys would look VERY presidential and put many fears to rest. And a plan for re-leveling the playing field between Bernie, billionaires, and some corporate honchos would, in my opinion, almost assure Trump's defeat.

For someone who professes to know a lot you would think you would brush up on how New Hampshire primary voting works.

And maybe I'll finally quit banging cantaloupes and get Halle Berry instead.

Nobody knows anything for sure. But Bernie, Biden, and (ugh) Bloomberg have consistently polled better than the rest against Trump, so I'm not sure what people base that idea on.
538, as of last night, projected that Pete was the only one that would beat Trump.

Bernie is a huge risk. He won't get any swing voters, Trumpsters will rally against his "socialism", and his social media trolls have alienated much of the Democratic party, outside of his base.

For all of the talk about how he can rally the troops, keep in mind that he's getting what............ about half of the votes that he got in 2016? Obviously it's because there are more candidates, but why are his voters from 2016 getting in line with other candidates? Why aren't they sticking with him?
A big chunk of them went to Warren. Also, it just means once their candidate is out, they are likely to go back to him.

Entity: Makes entirely disingenuous at best, outright deceitful at worst claim about Sanders, his campaign, or his policies.
Sanders supporters: call out BS
Entity: poor me i'm being attacked

Wash, rinse, repeat.

What a joke.
