Rad Songs About Drugs

Description: This time it's "Rad Songs About Drugs." Not Radbird Songs about Drugs, just, you know, awesome songs about drugs, which are bad, clearly. Nobody do drugs.

Wait, there’s no 6th and Powell. Elliot Smith is disqualified.

Okay, I looked it up. It’s the first time I’ve caught that line. But it’s been discussed online. I guess there is a footpath continuation that makes 6th and Powell a navigable byway. Probably still a good spot to get drugs. I gotta say when it comes to stories or settings in creations I connect more closely with Smith’s sad Portland than Fred Armisen’s Peter Pan [expletive]. Not that I’m totally miserable. It’s just more like the Portland I grew up around.

Elliott Smith was born in Omaha, but grew up in Duncanville, Texas, an anodyne Dallas suburb that I've represented. Amazingly, it took moving to sunny Los Angeles to actually kill him.
