Mercer/Danger Mouse was an unexpected collaboration when it happened, but it worked pretty well.

The twist at the end of the Speechless playlist got me. After half an hour of nice instrumental jams, I was not expecting
[SHOW]
Nick Mason to suddenly start speaking very threateningly

Maggot Brain very nearly went on my list. Supposedly it was inspired by Clinton telling Hazel to play like he just heard his Mom died. What an incredible piece of music.

New Slang, at my own fault, is a great song I never need to hear again. But it also sort of defines an era for me. Benzo Box, on the other hand, is a song I should have worn out.

I should make a playlist of songs that helped me through the turbulent times of the last several years. Hope the High Road would be on there.

Could have gone either way. Went with speechless.

I’ve heard that as well, but also heard that for the second half of the song (where it turns more upbeat) he told him to imagine that he then found out she was still alive. No idea if true. But yeah, epic song.
