Hop Along is like Rilo Kiley of they stomped on a distortion pedal. Happy to learn of them.

That Elvin Bishop song is great. As is his jumpsuit. I can’t Bee Gees. It hurts my throat just to listen to them.

Oh man. I have a new favorite thing.

It goes: this song. Then whichever of my kids isn’t pissing me off. Then Birria street tacos.

Thanks Theo.

You can’t get any angstier than You Oughta Know - lol. It set a high bar but I enjoyed the others too. Well done, Theo. You get my vote.

And St. Lewis, all of those songs/artists are indeed underrated. Murphey (lite country ballads), Bee Gees (disco) and Carpenters (mainstream pop) were around when I was (much) younger and their styles of music just didn’t grab my interest back then. I have since come to appreciate the talent if not the product - so yes, underrated. Did you know that Karen was a pretty damn good drummer?

Yes Rad, Karen was actually drumming in the song in my playlist. I'd read she was considered elite as a drummer, Buddy Rich himself gave her his due. I didn't appreciate these artists when I was young, but during the pandemic. I was able to reacquaint myself with many of these & others from those days, and I'm now amazed at the quality & talent from those decades.

Awesome! I went on a huge hop along kick in 2022 but none of my friends or family like them. it was a lonely journey
