My bowling alley closed during the pandemic. 2020 just keeps taking.
Mine closed several years back. It was doing "ok-ish" but the family that ran it just didn't want to deal with it anymore. Sad.
My bowling alley had the best greasy enchiladas in the entire city, and a bar run by a gruff and filthy mouthed older lady named Janet who was hilarious. And the drinks were all absurdly cheap (like $2.25 for well drinks). But alas, Covid shut them down, and the land the alley sits on in central Austin is probably now worth at least $10 mil.
Damn. All of this sounds incredible.

I try to go bowling like once a month or so. I'm probably about average. Always get around a 120-130 and my all time high score is probably about 181.

Pre-Covid I think my average was in the low 160s, and somehow I rolled a 230 once. So basically I'm ready to quit my job and go pro.

My in-laws are a major bowling family. Hundred of 300s, 800 series, etc, etc. They won some big ass golden eagle in Vegas for finishing first at Nationals. I on the other hand, dont use the finger holes and average a cool 100 or so.
