Geeked up like I haven’t been for a long time for Furiosa.

Anybody watch the trailer for "Trap" by M. Night yet? Seems like an interesting concept; I'm just glad they didn't cast a Taylor Swift look-alike for the pop singer role.

I also had an odd thought after watching it: I wonder how well they paid the extras, since I'm guessing they spent some long days in that arena.

Saw the trailer for Horizon: An American Saga. I'm pretty excited for it. I like westerns and Kevin Costner is usually pretty good. I guess it will be four parts which is kind of crazy but unique and interesting in this day and age for a theatrical release.

It’s great. Obviously it can’t be the out of nowhere kick in the nards and perfectly timed antithesis of the super tired crap around it that Fury Road was. It’s not as tight either.

But it’s so fun, and well imagined, and well built. And the set pieces are arguably as good or even better. Definitely better whips.

Enjoyed it a lot, but it felt like some of the CGI was really bad, humans moving like humans just don't.

Saw "IF" with the family Thursday night. It was a good story.

I’m trying really hard not to be this guy anymore, for my own sake. But when the trailer for Twisters came on and the main woman says “I don’t chase anymore” I burst out laughing in the theater.

That movie looks like a cliche piñata. Despite the many pleas before the feature to visit the theater. I think I’ll miss that one. Soon they’re going to re-shoot that Sarah McLaughlin dying dog commercial with empty theaters.
