RIP Quincy Jones
Genius. Pop, soundtracks, jazz. In my Plan A he became my father in law.

And a woman-magnet of the first order. Mick Jagger could only hope to keep up.
Watch Rashida Jones' documentary on him if you haven't already.

Re: RIP Quincy Jones
i was definitely a fan of his music and then you learn of his personal life and he certainly lived a life.
i dont know how or why i picked it up but i have this album "The Original Jam Sessions 1969" and it's quincy and, unfortunately bill cosby, as it was meant as background music for cosby's first tv show, though cosby really isn't on it other than scattin' on 1 song. that said, it's an amazing jazz album and has possibly one of my favorite songs ever, groovy gravy.
