New Flight Simulator looks incredible.
I'm also tempted to buy a Switch, pretty much just for Mario Maker 2.

I enjoyed it a lot (and I rather enjoyed Crackdown 2, as I recall) but I'm a little more down on the length of it than you are. They had a hell of a long time to develop it, they could have made the city a little bigger, at least.Michael wrote:The reviews for crackdown 3 were terrible, but I'm really enjoying it. It's a return to form after the disaster that was crackdown 2. The game is pretty short but I think that's a good thing. The game isn't going to wear out its welcome.

Gears 5 is amazing. It comes with game pass which makes it even sweeter. Game pass is arguably the best thing to happen in this generation of consoles.

Gamepass is just awesome. I'm not sure I've played a non gamepass game for a couple now. I'm going to DL Gears 5 tonight.

Re: The Video Game Thread
FIFA 2020 brought back the old FIFA Street and incorporated it into the game as Volta. Basically a world tour where you can play 5v5 on dirt (Lagos, Rome) or 5v5 on a gym floor (Berlin) or 3v3 in a little parking lot (NY) or 3v3 on dirt surrounded by pastel buildings (Rio) and like a dozen-plus different cities with different forms of short-side play. It's really fast and fun and I've had the game for a bit over 2 weeks and have only played one Career Mode 11v11 game on a full pitch because the street game is just waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy too much fun.

Re: The Video Game Thread
I have made no in-game purchases so far. I've played through the Volta story mode and am playing a lot of it on the World Tour, and have played (poorly) a couple matches online. I've played one career mode game. Nothing yet. I'm sure they are there, but I'm having one hell of a time just playing the offline street mode.Jocephus wrote:is it filled with microtransactions?

Probably the next time suck I won't have time for. I'm still playing RDR 2. Never really finished Fallout 4, GTAV, or Witcher 3 either.
