Yeah, I’m definitely of the car camping variety at this point. I’ve yet to take the plunge and do backpack camping, which an entire different beast.

I finally got some free time off of work recently and was able to get a bit of hiking in at a couple nearby mountains here in Korea (and a couple temples at the base of the mountains). These are both “provincial parks,” so they’d be roughly the equivalent of a state park in the US. They’re open 24/7/365 and are free to access. The national parks here are even more gorgeous, and there are a ton of them relative to the size of South Korea itself (like 25 maybe).

Both of these parks are googleable and found in the AllTrails app if you want to find out more about them…

Hibbing Minnesota is a strange place. Bob Dylan grew up there but she wouldn’t know it and I’m not sure anyone who currently lives there does
