I tend to err on this side. I just want to enjoy things. I don't indulge in many extravagances. But I might die tomorrow. If I don't, bonus.jim wrote:Spend it before you are dead is my advice.

Yeah, you guys are right. I mean I'm still going to save, but it's time to pull the trigger on something with a big block in it. I could drop dead tomorrow from a heart attack then what's the point of all this?

Bumping this old thread because I found this site
https://unbury.me/
Highly, highly recommend it if you're not a natural at understanding how your debt works and the timeline for paying it down. My bank had a similar tool and I used it very sporadically but it wasn't as easy to use and they dropped it a month ago. You don't have to put any personal info or bank account info like you do on something like Mint, but you can create an account if you want to save the basic information. You only need the current balance of your debts, the interest rates and your current minimum payments. I adjusted some payments after going through it.
One you get your minimums in there, it shows the total you spend on those. You can then increase that total you're willing to put toward all the debt and it will calculate what you should pay and shows a graph that illustrates when each account is paid off.
