Thanks for the thoughts and hopes. Ms aw is gonna be fine. Idk if the kids are gonna feel it.

I’ve been, in a sick way, looking forward to this fight for months now and I reckon it’s showtime. And I’m fired up.

Best of luck to your family AW. Drink lots of water. It sounds silly but once I got enough water in my it helped me not feel like I wanted to die.

Hope all turns out well in the IMA & AW families. And I want to echo IMA’s statement about not letting up right now. Tomorrow is the 2-week mark for us since the second shot. We’re still sheltering, masking, distancing, washing hands, etc. Beside having to deal with carelessness, defiance and outright stupidity, there are still too many unknowns about the virus and its variants to ease up on the gas pedal.

I’m beginning to think drinking a bunch of whisky last night was not the prudent choice.

I know I've talked about this before but I'm still having symptoms now three months after testing positive. It's strange I will have days were I feel great, and days were I feel awful. Today was a rough day. I ended up calling the doctor and he wanted me to come in. Fever was up to about 101, cough was terrible. I got an xray and I have pneumonia now. My chest hurts like hell. I just thought it was the coughing that was doing it but I guess not. What's strange is I felt great yesterday. My doctor is setting up an appointment with a cardiologist because he wants to see what shape my heart is in. Fatigue has been a huge issue and now I'm out of breath a lot. We are concerned there may be lung or heart damage.

I can't stress this enough, please continue masking up, using good hygiene, and social distancing. You do not want this. I see so many people relaxing a bit now, and I know we are all fatigued from this last year but covid is no joke. I'm a week or so away from planting season and if I have more days like today I don't know how I can do it. It's scary.
I sure hope you feel better soon. That's awful what you're experiencing.

I was able to get the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at a local Walgreens today, and my wife gets her first dose tomorrow. So far, just soreness in my shoulder, comparable to a flu shot.
