[expletive]. Man. It’s so weird. I mean knot hole gang vet was older. Think we al knew that. And people die. We all know that. But gosh dang. I feel like I owe cronos a lot. And I feel like I’m not the only one.
This hit like a ton of bricks. I seriously can’t stop crying [expletive].

I hear ya. This one is tough. He... he’s just one of ours.
How would folks feel about a zoom-type gathering to simultaneously watch a cards game and have a drink in his honor, maybe next weekend? Or if not zoom, a special memorial thread where we all commit to watching the game together, and honoring our friend?
Or if not a regular game, a rewatch of 2011 game 6 or 7, or the 06 clincher, which would have been his first ws win in his lifetime.
For real, who would be up for that?

Saw this referenced in the GDT and I'm stunned since he's one of the younger ones here. Never really socialized with him as much as some posters here but I always appreciated his posts and his passion for Cards baseball.

I would like to make a GRB group donation to a mental health services charity or Cardinals care in his memory.

I would happily donate to that.

Re: Cronos passed away
Am shocked & saddened to see this, I remember our game day threads in which we'd bantered back & forth with each other since I'd joined in 2006. In fact, he's the reason I'm a member. I saw a post of his in CT about this forum, which caused me to check this place out.
RIP.

I am saddened to hear about his. I used to chat with him. So sad.

Re: Cronos passed away
That is crushing to read first thing Monday morning. I missed him already, but this is a pretty solid gut punch.
Probably a good time to take a second and tell everyone that hangs out here that I consider friends thanks for your time either setting this place up or contributing. I've signed up for a few forums, but this is the one that keeps me coming back, even if there is no baseball to kick around. I've met just a couple of you, but I feel like I really do know almost everyone that posts here.
Thanks for letting us know about this terrible news, and Godspeed Cronos.
