That's me exactly. Probably getting even for when I actually had it and had zero symptoms. My wife who was fairly ill before...nothing.G. Keenan wrote: ↑May 28 21, 11:22 amMy wife got Moderna and had pretty strong reactions to both doses in terms of nausea, fatigue, and headaches. Knocked her out of commission for about a day each time, but then went away. Good excuse for a day on the couch!Leroy wrote: ↑May 28 21, 7:29 amSo we got our first round of Moderna yesterday. Aside from the intense pain in my shoulder (and I'm a diabetic, so I'm not a wuss for shots), the nausea I'm experiencing this morning and the thumb growing out from my forehead all of a sudden, it seems good.
Thanks Dr. Gneen.

My youngest sibling is now fully vaccinated. So we're all bulletproof.

My son returns from Taiwan on the 19th. I don't know if he'll have access to a vaccine there before he travels.CardsofSTL wrote: ↑June 9 21, 3:12 pmMy youngest sibling is now fully vaccinated. So we're all bulletproof.

Re: Got your shot?
Yes, thanks. He made it back safely, tested negative after quarantining for a week, got his first vaccine shot a few weeks ago, and will get his second dose this coming Friday. He's doing fine.CardsofSTL wrote: ↑July 18 21, 10:41 amDid your son's travel go as planned, Sigh?sighyoung wrote: ↑June 9 21, 3:56 pmMy son returns from Taiwan on the 19th. I literally cannot understand the people not getting vaccinated. I suppose that's a different thread. 1300 people are dying a day in the US, and most of them, totally unnecessarily.

I agree. We should have doctors use the proper treatments instead of telling people that an experimental vaccine is the only option. I literally cannot understand how so many smart people do not understand this.

Re: Got your shot?
Your definition of 'experimental'? Millions upon millions of us have gotten these vaccines. The percentage of complications is a known quantity. Well within acceptable bounds. What would move these vaccines from 'experimental' to 'understood' in your opinion?
