$13 for YouTube, $25 for all of NYTimes, $20 for Netflix, Somebody in our house is paying whatever it costs for Disney+, whatever it is we pay for Amazon Prime, $10 for MBL.tv, $350 for our goddamned phones. Jesus [expletive] christ its waaaaay too much.
I get that. But for me personally, I think I would give up every other subscription before I would give up my YouTube premium. But part of that is due to having a young kid who’s addicted to Cocomelon.
Definitely understand that! Our grandkids come over and watch that too.

Spoilers. It gets real in Season 4. Ms. Appleberry and JJ’s dad… CeCe goes goth. You’ve been warned.

I've recently discovered my self-sabotaging behavior is A) asking questions of people that I really don't want to know the answer to or that I think I already know the answer to but don't like and then B) getting irrationally upset when those questions are answered honestly.

Yesterday my knee was hurting so bad I could barely walk. I figured I'd torn something. Today I'm fine. No pain at all. Getting old is weird.

The day after a hard workout sometimes I have more energy than normal and sometimes I feel like I might die. I do the same routine every time. I've tried everything that isn't snake oil BS to try to control my recovery, but it just seems like my body is getting older and does whatever it feels like doing.

Btw - today is one of the "I feel like I'm dying" days even though I got 9 hours of sleep, did a sauna and cold plunge, and ate adequately healthy protein-forward meals after the workout.

By a bb gun, yes.

I feel great today, after feeling like death yesterday. I think this is just what working out hard in your late 30's is like.
