That corrupt thing is bogus. South Dakota doesn't have anything to be corrupt with.

You're not living until you've been to Fargo-Moorhead.
Fargo is a must stop for any baseball fan. Home of the Roger Maris Museum.

It's right next to the Fargo Museum of Science and Trucking.

I'm still amazed they call them that. I've seen a few in Missouri, and I guess they're really big in Iowa.

When I was in ND I had crack up laughing when I saw one. I've never seen one in MO and really only drove through all the other states to get to ND so I didn't see them there either.

Between the absurdity and corruption in our guvnuh's office, the crony-fed incompetence of Cook County government, and pipsqueak Daley's array of fetish-feeding inconsequential beautification projects, I sometimes wonder if Illinois would be better off under Manuel Noriega.

Thank you for mentioning this. Daley's TIF's scare the heck out of me.

It is a wonderful tactic for Daley. He gets access to funds that normally would go into the operating budget and gets to spend them on pet projects that are outside the scope of any meaningful public scrutiny. He then gets to raise taxes to fill the hole left in the operating budget. And he won't be around when the big bills come due in 10-15 years when much of the local tax base has been siphoned away from the operating budget.
